Mark began his career in 1983 as an Art Director for a national music publication in New York. After discovering his love of editorial design and typography, he moved on to CMP Publications. There, he created scores of informational graphics for several trade publications. In 1986, Mark spearheaded the adoption of computer tools for their publications' graphics. After CMP, Mark began working for Garvan Advertising.
In 1994, Mark moved to the San Francisco Bay Area to begin his work in multi-media. He became Creative Director at Dolphin MultiMedia in Palo Alto, creating and developing identity systems, print collateral, websites, motion graphics, and interactive corporate presentations for such clients as Macromedia, Verisign, 3Com, Palm, Fujitsu, and Contivo.
